wow i haven't been on here forever... but since i'm back on nights, maybe i'll try to start blogging again. i don't even think anybodys reads this lol. but i must find ways to stay awake!

so i just watched X-men First Class, ssssuucchhhh a good movie!!! don't know which one i like better so far tho... X-men or Thor. my opinion will be biased tho, since i have the BIGGEST HUGEST crush on Thor right now. *giggles* he can save me anyday...

mmmmhhhmmmmmmm.

annnddd i guess i'll have to admit.. maybe a little crush on James Mcavoy as Professor X.

i'm so sad i can't watch Netflix at work... stupid computers won't let me download Microsoft Silverlight =/.

well, i can't say this is an accurate pic, but it is true, i am having a BOY! let's hope for my son's sake, that he looks a little more like me than David... ;)

so yeah, we found out on December 30th, 2009 that we were having a boy. to my very unexpected surprise! is it weird for me to say that i wanted a little baby girl more so than a boy?? hahaha. another true fact. but i'm still one happy camper =).

i can't wait to build forts, play with nerf guns, wrestle, school him in video games, attack David with him, play sports together, make funny faces, and talk to him about his girl problems. lol. i can't wait!!! he already sounds like so much fun.

anyways, the other day i was disgusted to find that my belly button is starting to pop out. i heard it might happen, but i didn't think it would happen to me lol. it's not like a true OUTIE, but it's almost like it's halfway there lol. at least i was told i can clean the lint out of it much easier hahaha. uggh.

so for the record, i'm 5 months along now and counting. i would consider my belly HUGE right now, but i guess it's only going to get bigger. i MIGHT have "belly" pics up soon... and that's a big MIGHT. i still can't get used to this pregnant body lol. i don't feel flattering at all, hence avoiding taking pics.

anywhoo... i don't know who actually reads this, but i'll try to keep this blog updated lol. i guess if nobody reads this, i'll just call it my own personal diary.

okay yeah i know... i haven't been on here in ages. mainly because i'm too lazy, and i usually don't have anything very interesting to say lol. i'm not obsessed enough with anything to write about it, i don't have very many cool hobbies, what's so cool about working, sleeping and eating?

anyways... perhaps i should describe my pregnancy woes. if only my baby in utero could understand what he or she is putting me through lol. it is actually quite grueling right from the beginning, and i fully understand now (well actually, maybe not FULLY yet). my mama's wise words of wisdom, "you'll understand what i mean when you have your own children", is really starting to hit me lol.

Thanks Mommy, for going through awful labor pain for me =)

and i guess that's only the beginning. so many years of disobedience, talking back, attitude, thinking we know it all, unappreciation, lack of giving back affection, fighting, temper tantrums... no wonder parents don't feel enough appreciation from their children lol. after all they have to go through...

anyways, i kinda went off topic. so to the exact date, i'm 16 weeks and 4 days along. so 4 months and 4 days. still near the beginning of my second trimester. 5 months to go!!

here are my pregnancy woes, literally.

- very random extreme lower back pain... and this has got to be the worst of all of it. sometimes the pain is so unbearable, it actually wakens me from a deep sleep. and i HATE being woken up in the middle of my sleep. HATE IT. and the scary part is, i'm not even that BIG yet. i can't imagine how much WORSE the pain will be when my belly feels 10 pounds heavier?? oh and apparently sometimes the baby "sits" on my sciatic nerve. want to know how much that hurts?? ask those unfortunate people who have sciatica.

- so i've recently learned that i'm not even allowed to sleep on my back. well, maybe i can for a bit longer (not big enough yet). but once that baby bump finally POPS, sleeping on my back will put too much pressure on my blood vessels back there. and just my luck! i'm a BACK sleeper of all things. at least i'm not a stomach sleeper. that might suck a little bit more.

- exhaustion 24/7. and someone wise told me, it will be that way for the next 20 years. (yay!)

- the extreme need to EAT, EAT, and EAT some more. well, not really complaining about this one actually. in fact, i'm going to take full advantage of this.

- the fact that my growing body has got to be the most awkward thing right now. AWKWARD. it's actually kind of depressing. especially for someone like me, who is already quite self-conscious. gaining weight in my thighs, butt, hips, and belly is oh so FUN. so extremely fun. i feel like a cow. and i say it's at an awkward stage because i don't quite fully LOOK pregnant yet, i just look like i have huge SPARE TIRE. kinda like where a stranger will look at me and wonder, pregnant or fat? pretty sad. i just wish my belly would POP OUT already, so strangers can now be like, ooooohhhh, she's pregnant, obviously! the worst part is, i have to go LAS VEGAS this way. just so weird looking, so weird. i'm 90% tempted to wear a Moo Moo and never leave my house for the next 5 months. thank goodness for not being pregnant during the SUMMER.

- NO Caffeine, NO Sushi? Ugh... just ugh. (NO alcohol? hah... jk)

- having to pee like every half hour. inconvenient to the MAX. so very inconvenient.

in all honesty, i could continue this list FOREVER. i've probably only described like a quarter of my issues. but i'm on tight time constraints at my job. well, plus i lost my deep train of thought cuz i had to do my job for a few minutes. hahaha. thank goodness for night shifts.

anyways, don't get me wrong. i'm very very VERY excited to have this baby. everything to me is already worth it. the things i have to go through will be nothing compared to the happiness of having a little bundle of joy in my arms. (crossing my fingers for a GIRL... lol, is that bad? well, if i have a son, hopefully he never reads this...)

well actually, i'm not really looking forward to the labor part. one thing i've learned about myself, i seem to have a pretty low pain threshold. that sucks.

wish us luck, on December 30th, we get to find out if it's a boy or girl!! that's only apparently if the baby decides to cooperate. last time, it didn't!! i'm so impatient, i want to know what it is NOW! anyways, that is a highly anticipated ultrasound appointment we have coming up...

so... i'm going to be a mommy.

i'm extremely excited! at the same time, i'm extremely terrified.

this is definitely a new adventure for David and me... and i'm sure it will be very fun =).

basically i've been feeling like CRAP on a 24/7 basis for the past 2 weeks now. i barely have the energy to even type this blog. i'm struggling with all efforts!!

so here's what it feels like thus far:

- around the clock "morning sickness" like you wouldn't believe... there are times when i've just had to sit on the floor in front of the toilet. and this is ALL HOURS... ALL HOURS

- period like cramps off and on... and you know how much those suck in general

- extreme hunger to the max... and i'm talking like STARVING. there have been several times now that i have risen from my sleep because my belly was growling at me. in a zombie-like state, i walk down to the refridgerator and eat whatever i see pretty much. and then linger back up the stairs with eyes half shut and belly full, ready to sleep again. this is much to David's amusement.

- EXTREME FATIGUE. and i'm not even joking here. i literally come home from a shift at work and then just SLEEP. sleep for hours upon hours, with no care in the world. i refuse to wake up for ANYTHING! that's how tired i am...

i can go on and on with this list of what's happening to me right now... but some things you may not want to know lol. anyways... i'll update with more details later...

wow... i am so extremely bored. this week of night shifts has been ssssooooooo lonnggggggggg. not only that, but i feel so extremely drained of energy too. not even Facebook has kept me amused. i feel so... fidgety. lol. like i can't find anything to keep me satisfied. and now the summer is coming to an end soon!! sad =(. i didn't even come close to do all the things i wanted to do... waste!! well i guess there's still a bit of time left lol. but all i seem to do is work =(. work has taken over my life!! aaahhhhh!!

so i'm playing Final Fantasy 3... on my DSi lol. i know i know... old school right? but i've been so addicted to it! it has been my main source of amusement on nights thus far. i like to pretend i'm Luneth... but he's a boy lol. so adventurous.

ugh and i think i'm getting sick too... daily contact with the swine flu... maybe it's finally caught up to me lol. i guess i'll keep my fingers crossed. lol i'm so bored i don't even know what to write about. my mind is just BLANK. i'm only here to pass the time!!! oh my goodness... i'm only halfway through my shift! helppppp meeeee!!!

hhhmmm maybe i'll express the things i'm excited for in the upcoming week...

i'm excited to go to Ikea on Monday with Stacey and Melissa and do some furniture hunting... hahaha that sounds so old. but seriously!! Stacey, i can't believe you are moving out!! all grown up right in front of my eyes!! hahahaa. i predict very fun times ahead with your new found independence =P.

i'm excited to go out on Friday for Hazel's big 21st birthday... i'm in need of an extremely fun girls nights out =D. and knowing Hazel, this is going to be a bumpin night.

hhhhmmmm.... i'm excited to possibly have a Poker night on Saturday, and this time, play for real money lol. i think i might actually have a chance!

anddddd i can't think beyond that lol. i'm bored. i'm hungry. my eyes won't stop watering. my nose is runny. i'm deathly exhausted. unsettled. and i really need to work out lol. patients have been yelling at me today. vomitting. oozing. just gross!

So last week i got to go see The Lion King live in theatre!!! Went with David and my bff's, Stacey and Cherryl. It was an amazing show!!! So nicely performed and just had that "wow" factor lol. I was definitely dazzled!! Went out for dinner at Chili's beforehand, just had a lovely evening in general =).

Lol Cherryl loves to show off her glasses. (That she rarely wears, yet somehow seems to complain all the time about how she "can't see".)

And again.

Oh and it was the same day we stupidly decided to purchase the entire series of Alias lol. Random spending decisions of death. Gotta stop those.

And if anybody knows where i can get The Lion King on dvd? Or when it may come out of the "Disney Vault" again? Please let me know!!!

So i watched Miyazaki's Ponyo the other day, that is definitely one of the cutest movies i've ever seen!!! So adorable. And for those of you who think it looks like a "weird" movie, you will be mistaken once you watch it!! i do not lie =P.

And last but not least... i'm highly addicted to Wizards of Waverly Place right now. Like, i just love this show so much. I'm just breezing through season 1 right now like there's no tomorrow lol. Selena Gomez rocks!!

rollerblading fun

Second rollerblading adventure with Mel... extremely fun and amusing! So i wake up and i text Mel, "Do you want me to rollerblade to your house?". She calls me back and goes, "How about, INSTEAD of rollerblading to my house, you DRIVE to my house, and bring me to the hospital. Right now i am locked out of both my house and car, and i am staring at my keys inside of my car through the window".

So i go to pick her up and i bring her to the hospital (cuz her mom works there and has keys), and at this point she's not really worried about her car or her house, she is more worried about the fact that her rollerblades are IN her car, and that she is not able to access them lol. So we get that sorted out, and we finally get to go blading!!

So we park at Prairie Winds and try out this route i've never taken before... "Whitehorn Pathway" lol. It was so much fun!! The path was relatively FLAT the entire way, which is good for us being beginners and all. It was such a beautiful day! I can officially say that i have mastered the art of using the BRAKES. The only thing is, i have to START braking like 10 minutes before i actually want to STOP hahahaha. I think i've got the hang of it tho! I almost feel PRO!

So anyways, after about half an hour of blading, our ears perk up at the sound of the icecream man coming down the street. We can see him clearly, yet we are still too far away to actually stop him to buy some icecream. So what do we do? We started to frantically wave our arms up in the air in high hopes that maybe he'd see us and wait lol. And he DID!

So after a 5 minute struggle to actually GET to the icecream truck (the pathway was cracked and steep), we finally make it to the truck, only to be beaten by a couple of little kids. So we watch in amusement as the children buy their icecream (they didn't know how to count their money), and then finally it's our turn!

First of all, this icecream man looks rather shady. Melissa and i make our choices... we go for the "Mega Missile" popsicles, which i swear back in the day used to be called "Rocket". Cheap imitation! Anyways, so each Mega Missile is $2.50. So i pull out 5 loonies and hand it to the icecream guy. He stares at the money in his hand and goes, "This is only 5 dollars. Where is my tip!?". At first i thought he was just joking with us, so i laugh and say, "Do kids usually tip you!?". And then he just stares back at us, unamused... he was SERIOUS! He was actually WAITING fo me to tip him first before he got our popsicles! So Mel and i give each other a wtf look, and i hesitantly pull out another dollar to give to this greedy icecream man. Finally, he gives us our popsicles and drives off. Lol.

So, with popsicles in hand, we start to venture back to where we started from. And we made it back to the car in time just before it rained!! Thanks for the evening Mel, that was a blast! I look forward to many more rollerblading adventures... (if we have any summer left =/ )

GI Joe. go see it. it's a pretty hot movie.

so i just saw GI Joe... it was pretty sweet. it was definitely better than i expected, the previews didn't really look all that good, but in the end, i would rank it pretty high up there on my list of fave movies =P. highly entertaining. the dialogue was a bit weird at some parts tho... lol. like so cheesy. hhhhmmmm... i guess i'd have to say it was better than Transformers 2?? i have mixed feelings. wait. yeah. i think it was better.

my number one movie of the year however still remains unchanged: Star Trek. i don't think anything can beat that right now!

and oh man... i'm slow right now... The Time Traveler's Wife comes out next week and i'm only on page 140!! gaaahhhhh.

sigh... i really don't have much of a life when i'm on nights... =/

Well i'm officially back on NIGHTS... my territory. It's been 3 weeks since i've been here. And it feels good! I love the feel of the night... the mystery. How everything is masked by the darkness. Lol don't think i'm creepy or anything... i dunno, maybe i'm just weird? It's like at night, i feel alive. A time to think and ponder. And to read, watch movies, play games, and surf the 'net.... hahaha!! Too much fun, too much fun.

So i'm trying to read The Time Traveler's Wife right now, and i've realized just how badly i have some type of ADD. Yup, i definitely have a "persistent pattern of inattention". I used to be able to read an entire book in a day!! Now that i'm "old", i can barely focus. Or maybe the stresses of adult life have finally plagued me. Who knows!

And now i sit here and sip my disgusting PLC cafeteria coffee... and twiddle my thumbs. And i am extremely bored. But also feeling a little bit poetic. I tried to write a poem just now... but to my despair, i would say it's a FAIL. Maybe i'll just keep working on it lol. And once i get it right, perhaps i'll share them.

Went rollerblading for the first time in a very long time with Mel today!!! We both bought new blades!!! Well, i just didn't have any in general. But MELISSA was still using her pair of rollerblades that she's had since GRADE 5!!!!! Grade 5!! So Mel, you had a size 10 foot in the 5th grade!? CRAZZZYYYYYY!!! hahahahaa

It was sssooooooo fun!!! We were both "testing the waters" today. Luckily, no accidents and no falls!!! I've been practicing, but i still don't really know how to stop =(. Likeeee, i know i how to use the brakes, but with much difficulty!!! Hopefully with time i'll become a PRO!!! hahahahaha. Yes, we plan to go to those skate parks, you know with those ramps and stuff? And yeah, we kinda plan to do flips and cool tricks. Don't believe me?? Oh you'll see my friend!

Unfortunately i'm stuck with these bright pink and blue wrist guards right now. That was the only thing i could find!! Honestly like rollerblades and rollerblading gear is almost all sold out everywhere. Cuz it's "going out of season" soon. It's still summer tho!!! Whack.

Anyways, so the summer adventures of being active and fit have begun!! No more lazy days on the couch!! Now... i need some rollerblading outfits... hahaha.

Haven't been here in a while... So what's new with me?

Well i just came back from an awesome vacation on Vancouver Island! We stayed in a small town called Sooke. Very cute and quiet, along the ocean. Went with like... 30 people hahahaha. Very fun and relaxing! I visited Victoria a couple of times, rode on a moped, ate the best Halibut fish and chips ever, ate fresh crab, partied and played poker everyday haha.

And now i'm just... Blah. Who knows. Just whatever. I just wanna do so many fun things this summer to keep me occupied. But what to do in Calgary?? Lol there's nothing to do. Wish i lived by a beach =P

I'm working on a "list" right now... a list of fun things to do before the summer ends!!! And yes, my list may be a little boring right now... but i'm also trying to keep in mind CHEAP. Yeah oh how i WISH i could go to a tropical island every month, but unless i win the lottery, that's not gonna happen.

Sometimes i wish i could just move away... and just be somewhere new. I wanna just gooooooo, but I'm stuck. I want an adventure. My job is boringg. Same old same old routine. Need excitement. There's so many things that i want... that i wish for... things that will never happen. And sometimes i wish i could go back into the past... well don't we all.

Either way, it's been a great summer so far =). (Also cuz i went to JAMAICA!!!)

Definitely one that i'll never forget.

Okay soooo... i've just decided... that i really really really really want a baby lol. And despite the fact that i seem to be surrounded by baby fever, such as at my work, church, and by some friends, this decision is entirely my own lol. No jokes!!

I guess it's pretty much all i think about these days. I KNOW... i KNOW... it will be hard. I understand that. Don't have to tell me twice! I have a puppy, so at least i have some kind of an idea lol. And in case you were wondering, puppies are vverrryyyy high maintenance. Obviously I wouldn't compare a baby to a puppy... but you get the idea.

So yah, that's where i'm at right now =P. How could would that be.... but how scary.

And Congrats Dianne and Gerard!! Can't wait 2 see Noah!!

Also... i'll be going to JAMAICA in April!!! Yahoo!!! With Melissa, Cherryl, Feiven, and Stacey! Can't wait!!!

2009 has finally arrived!! Time to start blogging again! Lol.

Looking back at 2008, I can say that it was very event-filled. Let's see... bought a house, vacationed in Mexico, got married, went to every single theme park in Orlando, Florida, bought brand new furniture, bought a car.... etc...

Actually, it wasn't only event filled, i must say very EXPENSE filled!!! And somehow, we are not bankrupt!! Yahoo!!!

So now for 2009. Things to look forward too: getting fit, getting out of debt, living life to the fullest, STARTING A CHURCH WITH DAVID, getting a dog, start the process of bringing children into the world. Wow, what else can there possibly be??

Now that i think about more and more, 2008 and 2009 were/are going to be very busy years!!!

Anyways, so this whole getting out of debt business... might be the most difficult to conquer. Well and by debt, i mean CREDIT CARD debt! This is my major issue right now!! I don't care about house debt, car debt, student loans, etc. I'm talking about HIGH INTEREST kick-you-in-the-butt debt.

Did you know a Future Shop card has 30% interest!? Crazy!! My advice, don't get one in the first place! But do i listen to my own advice? No, not really.

This will be the year to save. Hopefully not just saying that.

This will be the year to LOOK GOOD/FEEL GOOD. " "

This will be the year to live our dreams.

I thank God for every blessing He has poured down on David and me during this past year. He never lets us down. How we paid for our wedding? I have no idea. Obviously we got a little help from above. Somehow, things just work out. God will never let you down! It's sometimes hard to remember that.

I'll probably create a FRESH new look for my blog lol. Stay tuned for it =P

okeeeeee so i'm really learning a lot about blogging right now!! into a world i never knew of lol. yaahhhhh i'm a bit of a geek. well it's kind of like the only thing i do on my NIGHT shifts now lol. actually, i guess i'm pretty much managing like 3 blogs right now!! my own and a couple others =P. maybe you'll just have to explore my links to find out which they are =P. bahahahahahaha.

so anywayssssss... i heart my Blackberry berry berry much. i just ordered a few faceplates for mine!! or skins. or whatever you call them. but i'm soooooooo excited to get them!! yahoo!!! and i have a bunch of Blackberry themes on the way too!! from my sources =P. ahahahahaha. i'm so addicted. yikes.

so i'm on my night shift right now... and u know what!? i love this new world!!! i have really started to learn to STOP complaining. as my hubby says, we'll never have the perfect job anyways. but i'll just have to admit that this is probably one of the BEST x-ray positions that i've ever had!! what could be better than having internet access at your fingertips for an entire shift!?? well in this job, it's been great!!! well of course i occasionally x-ray patients here and there (lol).

like i feel a little bit more fulfillment in my life right now when it comes to my job than i ever have before. why?? because of the endless possibilities!! i can do so much from here to contribute to working in Ministries!! i just feel like i've helped so much. like i've helped David so much!! i'm truly becoming a Pastor's wife, yahoo!!! well, at least i hope so anyways =/.

it's so fun!!

i don't even FEEL sleep deprived at night anymore! cuz my mind is too busy running a mile a minute with so many ideas and thoughts about what i can possibly do to help out the Youth and College/Career ministries!! yay!! no more complaining!! (lol well, sometimes...)

the only disadvantage is i don't get to sleep beside David at night =(. i wonder how long i can keep this up? so far so good tho. i mean it's ONLY 7 nights every 2 weeks.... =/.

omygoodness!!! ever since i got this Blackberry Curve, i haven't been able to put it down!!! i just can't stop thinking about it!

okay wow seriously... i have some major INSOMNIA issues going on here, and i don't know how much longer i can survive. after coming home from my night shift THIS MORNING, i only got 5 hours of sleep. tried to nap, and NOTHING!! i CAN'T SLEEP!!! it's been like this since the beginning of the week! for some reason i can only sleep from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm and can never EVER get back to sleep.

aaaahhhhhhh!!!!

okay so i'm getting a little paranoid here... what if i can never ever adjust forever!? i thought i could do it... but then again, it's way too early to be complaining. i can still adjust... i hope. maybe it will just take a few more weeks.... months... who knows.

i have a new TOY to play with!! the new Blackberry Curve 8330 in PINK ;). i love it!! so many new things to discover yet!! fun+addicting. bye bye sucky old phone!! well, it wasn't THAT sucky... but it was nothing compared to this new one!! yahoo!! i keep looking for things to download onto it lol... and for that reason, this night shift is dangerous. actually, it's dangerous for online shopping too! and signing up for things!! such as Nintendo Power, which i'm still waiting for by the way! i can't wait to read about updates in Nintendo! lol

what sucks right now... both David and me are sickies =(. well David is more sickly than me. it was my first time having to take care of him due to being sick! i hope i did a good job... i kept giving him medicine and pills and lots and lots of fluid!! right now he's sleeping all alone =(. hope he's okay. it's hard to take care of a sick person when you are sick yourself! but there's no way i can call in sick to a night shift. then there would pretty much be nobody to work!!

so it's about 3:30am right now... pretty much 4 more hours to go before my bed time. right now i'm reading ECLIPSE finally!! the 3rd book of Twilight!! i'm almost there... but everyone has seem to read the 4th book already, so i'm very very behind anyways =(. oh well, i still love it!! except i miss JACOB BLACK like SO MUCH right now... my heart seems to be leaning more in his direction at the moment lol. well doesn't it seem more realistic that she can be with Jacob the wearwolf?? first of all, it's not DIFFICULT for him to be around her, he won't live forever and therefore they can age together and be together properly. and they can do other stuff too... stuff that Bella and Edward can't seem to do otherwise Edward might lose himself if you know what i mean. i don't know, i just think that there are just too many complications being with a vampire lol. well don't get me wrong, i obviously fell in love with Edward too. but in the long run, that would be hard. and i don't think i'd ever want to turn INTO a vampire!

anyways, i can't believe it's already SEPTEMBER. that means it's almost CHRISTMAS! and that means i have to decorate our brand new house with everything Christmas. since i basically have NOTHING. i think it will be a fun but expensive task to accomplish lol.

well i better get back to my very useful time of surfing the net and reading my book. what a great job!! =P

so we finally got Mario Kart for Wii!!! fun fun fun!! =D it's so addicting! Princess Peach is my girl... with the Mach Bike! hahaha i'm such a geek =P

so DEVESTATING news... our van aka the Cay's super super old Astro van is deemed "unsafe to drive"! now we have no mode of transportation anymore!! and that is why we're finally GETTING A NEW CAR!!! i'm so excited i can't wait!!! this will be like my super first car ever in my entire life that i can actually call my own (well, shared with David obviously lol). we're thinking of a Toyota Yaris 2009... yah yah yah i don't care if it's the best or worst car out there, we just need something cheap but decent!! and to me, it looks pretty decent. and it's so pretty. it will make a fine first car!

i am just counting down the days until my NIGHT shift rotation will start!! this whole evenings things is really getting in the way of life. i know nights might be hard at first... but i'm confident that i can adjust. well, i hope! plus there's a little bit more cha-ching on nights =P. i'm interested to see what's gonna happen working Halloween night... which is a friday!!! it might get a little crazy!

lol also more exciting news: we finally have grass! and to top it all off, a tree! the tree came unexpectedly. my very first tree! very cool. we named it Treebeard. he's pretty leafy. can't wait to decorate it for holiday's!! it's amazing how much a little tree can bring such amusment to my life lol.

so just watched the new Beverly Hills 90210... and it's just "meh". not what i expected it to be! maybe it'll get jucier. but Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill are definately completing my life right now lol.

anyways... the stresses of life seem to be the same. so much to do, so little time. i seriously wish i could be like a DOLPHIN trainer or something!! in Seaworld! right now that's my dream lol. i just can't achieve it due to one minor detail... it requires a strong swimmer. that's definately not me!! if i was on a boat that sunk, i'd be pretty much be out of luck. oh well, maybe one day =(. if i take swimming lessons first?

looking forward to getting Ugly Betty season 2 next week! another excellent addiction!

each new day brings new insight on just how freakishly similar i am becoming to my parents...
1. I have the CONSTANT and never ending urge to just keep cleaning the house, yet i can never seem to keep it clean
2. I pop pain killers like candy (thanks Pops)

anyways. sooooo i'm working nights again. i get a lot done on the internet! lol.

i am pretty blessed to have such a wonderful husband, i must say. he puts up with me even at my worse. i don't know how he does it! but i just wanna say thank you sweetie, and that i love you. i'm sorry for being ME sometimes. it must be frustrating. i promise to try to be better always!! you're the best David =)

another thing i need to work on... my attitude towards work. i have a GREAT job, but for some reason i can't stand going. what's wrong with me? why so bitter? i just can't put my finger on it. the only thing i can think of is that it's just my bad attitude. why can't i just be happy! oooOOOoooohhhhh.... that's another thing from my dad - a negative attitude! aahhhhh!! maybe that's it. well anyways, that's why i'm working nights now!! my theory: i get paid the most to do the least amount of work! what a great concept! yah cuz working nights gets you the most mula as an x-ray tech. =D

on another note, my list of things to do is ENDLESS. too much to list! the stresses of life will never seem to end. is there a way to just avoid this? is there a way to just ACCEPT the fact that there will ALWAYS be a tremendous list of things to do and that's just how life goes? sometimes i feel like i can just do it all. that one day, my checklist will be complete and i can finally relax. i'm not really sure.

married life... amazing! it has been so surreal just to wake up next to the person you love the most =)

greatest day of my life thus far - June 28 2008... *sigh*

it has been quite the adventure so far. i have learned so many new things that i have never known before! just about how to survive life in general. i feel like a "Sim" so far... my levels have increased in cooking and mechanical the most lol. i love to build stuff!!

most recently i cooked spaghetti from SCRATCH! yeah yeah... i know this may sound pretty stupid and pretty simple, but i have NEVER done it before. and i actually followed the recipe from top to bottom. it turned out great! however, i had a few "set-backs" along the way. some of the things i have learned from making this spaghetti is:

1. Don't ever try to cook a 2 Kg package of spaghetti thinking it is a normal amount to cook
2. Don't try to pan-fry raw ground beef that has not been defrosted at ALL
3. I need a bigger pot

asides from cooking disasters, i am much better suited for doing handy work around the house, building stuff! most recently, i have installed DRAPES! amazing! well, it is quite an acomplishment for me, okay? i have never approached that kind of project before. i used a drill (that's right, i bought my very own drill!), drilled in the brackets, put up the rod, and hung up those drapes, ALL BY MYSELF. that's right, no help was recieved! and i liked it that way! it was fun, and it actually looks good, professional.

well i kinda needed to put up drapes ASAP due to my most recent acceptance into a NIGHTS position at the hospital. now i can sleep during the day and it will feel like the night! because i couldn't just get ANY type of drapes... oh no... they are BLACK-OUT drapes!! no light! perfection! and cozy =)

my past successful projects have been building a bookshelf, and building an over-the-commode shelving unit for the bathroom, and a few other small things around the house. many more to come!

so i'm on a night shift right now... and that's why i seem to have all the time in the world right now to write this blog! i love nights! get paid to go on the internet! with the ocassional moments of x-raying a patient. it's pretty great! except i'm pretty sleepy right now =S

most recent addiction: watching Gossip Girl Season 1!!! i am so glad David is into it too... he calls himself Gossip Boy! and signs everything he writes with "XOXO Gossip Boy" at the end. geek. well anyways, it's a must. GG S.2 starts Sept. 1st!! it's coming soon!!!
